The Difference Between Restoration and Demolition

When you walk across your floors and suddenly your feet are wet, you have many thoughts! Most often, we hear from property owners that they grabbed towels and tried to mop everything up.  Once they don't see the water, they assume everything is dry and it will be fine.  After awhile, these floors will need to be removed and replaced.  This is very disruptive, expensive, and time consuming.

The hardwood floors pictured above were affected by a recent storm.  As you can see, these floors are already cupping, crowning and are swollen.  Soon, secondary "unseen" damage will happen.  Microbial growth begins (in certain conditions) within just a day or so.
