Ceiling Leaking? There’s a pro for that.
So many times we get a call from a home or business owner who shares that they had recently found water in places where it should be dry. Sometimes it is from a water heater, an air conditioner, a leaking pipe, a leaking dishwasher, or a leaky toilet seal. It could also be coming from other sources like ground water or a leaking roof. The owners often dry the water with towels and sometimes a wet vacuum. Some customers have gone to a big box store and rented or bought air movers or other equipment to dry it themselves. They no longer see the water and assumed it was dry.
Now it is a few days later and their floors have started to buckle, pull up, or cup. The baseboards and cabinets may have swollen and sometimes they are noticing a faint mustiness that was not there previously. What the property owner couldn't see in the beginning was the secondary damage that was happening with each passing hour.
SERVPRO of South Mecklenburg County has the equipment, training and expertise to chase the water and dry it before there is secondary damage. We address the issues and restore the home so that it is "Like it never even happened." This is what we do!
